The Mind

In a culture of ghost hunting and entertainment founded on unknown phenomena, sometimes we forget that a study of death is actually a study of life. It is good to remember that we as a species really do not fully understand what we as living beings are truly capable of. The human mind is capable of some very incredible phenomena. ESP and other PSI related abilities that lie dormant until we are evolved enough to have them under our direct conscious actions.

If we really think about it we do not control much inside our bodies consciously. Our breathing, cardiac rhythm, nervous system, immune system, etc. and the list keeps going, are all under the subconscious realm of responsibility. We do not control our sensory inputs but we do control how we process and interpret that information. There are many layers to human beings, and if only 1% of the documented experiments in ESP and PSI abilities are accurate then this has to be accounted for in our investigations into related phenomena.

Hereward Carrington (17 October 1880 – 26 December 1958), a well-known researcher for the Society for Psychical Research postulated a theory on the Psychic Ether as it relates to poltergeist cases. According to Carrington, a person could actually create a personality due to trauma or high stress, much like an internal personality break, only externalized by latent PSI abilities. Most of the time there is an adolescent, most often girls due to the changing of their bodies. These creations actually continue to develop, and manifestations grow more frequent and intense, being fuelled by the psychic in the environment. Remove the energy source, as the child moves away, and the manifestations grow dormant until another psychic, and possible unknowingly so, enters and it begins again.

This is just one example of possibilities that are not spoken of too much in the chase for the next video. When we experience great emotion we are handling high voltage energy. Traumatic life experiences, and in some cases even positive experiences, creates a blast of energy that goes in all directions, even into our frequency from the past or future. Time is nonlinear and according to Einstein, it is relative to perspective. If a radio station puts more energy into their broadcast it will interact with other stations. A traumatic experience that happens in the past or future can be played out in our space as an echo. The actions we create in life have far reaching results.

We as a culture need to take another serious look into the study of ESP and PSI abilities. How can we understand what is happening if we do not understand ourselves and in doing so, fail to understand our effect.
